   01. Introduction:
Please take the time to read through the Global rules before playing on this ladder. The Global rules not only apply to COD4 - Hardcore - Search & Destroy but all Ladders within FPSWars. Take the benefit of knowing the Global rules as this will avoid conflicts with other clans and will increase your chances of winning matches.

   03. Challenges:
1. You can challenge teams up to 2 ranks above your team but never below.

2. A team has 72 hours to respond to your challenge. Failure to respond will result in an automatic forfeit loss.

3. When a team responds to your challenge they must select 3 separate dates and times and 2 maps and include their Server IP/port in the Challenge notes. Use another source of communication (email-xfire-msn-etc.) to give the Password.

4. You must then finalize the challenge within 72 hours of the challenged team accepting.

5. You will then need to select 1 of the maps and 1 of the times to have the match.

6. If a team does not show up 10 minutes after the match is to start it is considered a forfeit to the non-showing team.

7. Make sure to save a record of having the match as you will be contacted via email by a Ladder Supervisor or an FPSWars admin if you are acccused of forfeiting. If you cannot prove you played the accusing team then they will be awarded the match and you will be given a forfeit to your record.

   05. Team Size:
The 4 vs. 4 Ladders will have a minimum of 4 roster players per team. You are allowed to play with more if both Team Captains agree. If for some reason a team is missing a player at the time of the scheduled Match then the match can be played with less than 4 players from each participating team if BOTH of the Team Captains agree. If the Team Captains do not agree to make the teams even then the team with the fewest players may choose to play with less than 4 players or forfeit.
NOTE: ALL Matches can be rescheduled to avoid a forfeit if both Team Captains agree.

   06. Score to Win:
The Match will be played over 20 rounds. The first team to win 11 rounds wins the Match. Teams will switch after 10 rounds no matter who won them.

Overtime:
In the event that the match ends up in a 10-10 tie then an extra round of overtime will be played. The overtime round is setup the same as any of the other rounds. The Challenged Team has side choice and the overtime round must be played on the server where the 20th round was played. NO substitutions will be allowed in Overtime.

   07. Miscellaneous Rules:
If ALL players on your team do not record a demo then your team is subject to a forfeit if a problem occurs in the match and an FPSWars Ladder supervisor/admin requests demos to be submitted for review. Demos should be kept for 2 weeks per individual. If they are not requested within 2 weeks then they may be deleted.

It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to make sure ALL of their players know how to record a demo.

Recording a demo:
Open console and type /record demoname

The demoname will be the word match and a 6-digit date format such as 033109 Month/Date/Year. The 6-digit date will be the date of the Match.

Example: /record match033109

Once the Match is over open your console (~ key) and type /stoprecord.
